PERSONAL INFORMATION
I am a third generation local to the Mendocino Coast. My grandfather homesteaded our family land in 1936 before Hwy. 20 was paved. I have a deep love and appreciation for the area and feel it part of my duties to try to preserve our small town atmosphere while still allowing for people to make a living. I graduated from Fort Bragg High School then continued on to college at Sonoma State University where I majored in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Business. After college I traveled north to a small town in Oregon. I lived there for a few years then got married to my terrific wife Wendi and had my first daughter Evelyn Rose. Upon returning home to Fort Bragg with my wife and little girl, we had my youngest daughter Faith Ann. I worked with my family in our local retail store, Dwyer's Stove Works until my parents retired. I have since then focused full time on Real Estate. Small town retail is the place where my parents taught me in my youth to become a salesman. It is also where I learned how to sell hard to sell items. Knowledge and expertise should be the core of any good salesman. Personality and the ability to close a deal take a close second. I have had a job since I was 12 years old. I started out with a paper route. Now I sell a little bit of paradise. I entered the Real Estate market in late 1996, passing all required tests within 18 days. I completed my first full year in Real Estate (1997) with an impressive number of sale sides. My ranking with the number of sale sides was #4 out of 25 agents whom work primarily in the Fort Bragg area . I was ranked #5 out of 69 active agents on the entire Mendocino Coast. This was during my FIRST full year!! 1998 I was also ranked in the top agents on the coast. I was ranked #5 with agents who primarily work the Fort Bragg area in 1998. 1999, I improved ranking tied at the #3 spot out of 90+ agents in residential sales volume. In 2000, 2001 and 2002 I was awarded CENTURY 21 Masters certificate. I was at the time, the youngest agent on the Mendocino Coast to achieve this prestigious award. I contribute my success to many factors. I am young, energetic, and very driven. I have implemented a marketing plan the likes of which has never been seen on the Mendocino Coast. I am personable, honest, and have a well established family history on the Mendocino Coast. I am very comfortable with technology and the use of it. I have invested a great deal of time and money to make sure my equipment and use of it is always on the
cutting edge.
